Pets can be harder work than children – child photographer

When I have a newborn shoot in, my cats are put away the night before, and then everything is scrubbed in anti bacterial cleaner, all my props are stored away. What I am finding hard work is the destructiveness of those pesky cats. We used to have two sofa’s facing each other, this made a great place to run circuits sliding along the leather with a our claws! Our latest bit of fun from the mischievous little critters is to run full pelt and skid on the beautifully varnished studio floor – third time lucky am stripping again and changing to matt varnish in a big to curb their errant ways!
