How beautiful is this gorgeous little newborn – William actually was awake for a lot of his shoot and I guess this must be one of my signature poses for newborns, it shows their squishy rolls, chubby little cheeks, and that newborn eye contact is just amazing. William came in at the right age for his newborn photos – under 14 days but sometimes babies are just so much more alert at this age. It made for a stunning photo for his Mummy & Daddy.

Essex baby photos – sweet dreamy newborn goodness

Families often travel from across Suffolk, Cambridge, Essex and London for their newborn shoots with me. Romford is an hours drive, I also travel to clients homes provided they have the space. Most clients book in around week 20 for their photo session and plan in advance the type of images they like. With shots like the one with the crown, I usually do one without and one with as Dad’s sometimes aren’t so keen. (Although one Dad last year was so excited and kept running to my prop room and coming back with more and more headbands and crowns which was increcibly sweet)! This particular crown came all the way from America, I really do have a well travelled collection of newborn props. And of course frog pose has been made of two images and the baby was supported at all times at the wrists and then at the head. The images are then merged in photoshop.
