I’m so happy you’re here looking for a photographer for your precious little one, it means you are on the most heartfelt journey of your life and you are either pregnant or about to give birth. I’d love to tell you a little about myself – I’m a mum of three grown up children, and I am so aware of how quickly life goes once your baby arrives. It feels like it’s gone in a blink. I have been a professional baby and family photographer for 30 years, specialising in the last 14 years in newborns. I have trained extensively and photographed thousands of babies over the years with a passion for safety. With my years of experience I’m an expert at reading little newborns body language and delicately handling them and posing them safely. I am delighted to welcome families into my dedicated home studio for soothing newborn photoshoots where you get to sit and watch your little miracle in all their beauty in between feeds and cuddles. You will receive artwork of your familes love and connection to treasure all of yours and your babies lives. 

My studio is located on the Essex border near to Colchester.

What to expect when looking for a newborn photoshoot.

A newborn shoot is a way of recording a babies first weeks after they are delivered to parents. Typically they are photographed in a studio where the baby is coaxed into a sleep in a warm room and positioned carefully into the curly sorts of positions they can get into whilst they are still in room but with cute hats, headbands and props. Some families prefer lifestyle newborn shoots where they are at home and just cuddling their precious little baby. They are generally taken within 2 weeks of birth.

CHILD PHOTOGRAPHY

I specialise purely in photographing families, and in particular children and babies. Photoshoots are fun and carefree meaning your child will feel relaxed and at ease being themselves, capturing their true personalities, quirks, smiles or pouty lips! Rather than feeling they have had a posed photo session, they feel they’ve had fun being themselves and playing. I offer studio portraits, styled photo sessions, outdoor shoots, fairy photoshoots, carousel horse and imagination sessions.
