These sessions can last 2-4 hours, dependant on baby if you want the sleepy poses, prop images, family images, these allow for all types of posing whilst still capturing babies details, your family connection. These sessions can include different backdrops not just on white you choose anything from my gallery or you give me your own ideas. For example you may just want the beanbag style images but all posing positions can be done, changes of fabric to give you alternate images, headbands, hats and wraps. These are still well priced packages and beautiful artistic fine art images are achieved. These sessions take place at my studio or at your home.

NEWBORN PACKAGES
Thank you for your interest in booking a session with Liz Wood Photography.
There is a £100 booking fee for all sessions this is payable upon booking your session this covers my time for the shoot and in the editing of your beautiful artwork of your baby. The session fee is deducted off of your chosen package.
No product is released until payment is made in full. Payment plans can be arranged. Digital packages start from £250 including your session fee, and cover a 2-4 hour newborn shoot, baby, parent, sibling and props if required at no extra charge and with no hidden extras or hard sell.
The art of photographing newborns is my lifelong passion.
Booking your newborn shoot
Once you have received and reviewed all my pricing details and decide to book in. You will receive a link to my guide preparing you for your wonderful newborn photoshoot experience. It will provide you with feeding guidelines, how to get the best from your newborn photo session. I have taken Covid safety precautions and revamped the client areas to ensure I keep you as safe as possible.

What if my baby doesn't settle?
I’ve yet to meet a baby I couldn’t settle and photograph. However if I felt your baby was poorly or unsettled, I will always reshoot to achieve those gorgeous images you want at no extra charge.
Can you make me something unique
What is the best age for a newborn shoot?
Usually I would say under 14 days is best for your shoot, however I’ve had 5 week old babies sleep better than some under 14 day olds, and even if a baby is older, I’ve undertaken photoshoots of 5 and 6-month old babies that have been in hospital and achieved some newborn style poses.
Are newborn shoots worth it?
Newborn shoots weren’t a thing when my children were babies. Oh how I wish I had the chance of these images, I can remember never liking my photo being taken, and now I look at the very rare off photo and appreciate that I DIDN’T appreciate my youth, or my looks, and I wish I now had those photos of me with my babies. Capturing your new baby when they are oh so new is something you will treasure when they are older, time speeds by in a blink once you have your wonderful family. And having photos of your new baby on the wall or in an album will always remind you of that precious fleeting time.
