I love that I get to see growing families, I have photographed this beautiful Mummy and her oldest daughter for the last 4 years, and it’s always wonderful when the new addition comes along to meet me, I couldn’t share these before as they were Christmas surprises.

I live on the Suffolk, Essex border, but am within easy reach of Ipswich, Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Witham, London, and Cambridgeshire, I am happy to travel further afield to undertake photography sessions, and can combine lifestyle photos with more posed beanbag newborn photography. And outdoor sessions reliant of course on weather with newborn work.

Family photography Essex – Suffolk -Sudbury Suffolk newborn photographer

Newborn photos can be as natural as this timeless black and white selection of newborn baby girl photos. Simple and classical baby photography still involves the same amount of ensuring babies little fingers are in the right place, and the time is still taken to edit out little flakes of dry skin and baby acne. Even though this posing looks simple – making sure that baby is still safe is so important and even though I’ve worked with this particular now big sister before and I know she is a little sweetheart and very sensible, I still take time to make sure she is comfortable and placing her hands in the correct place to hold her little sister on her photoshoot. This family are actually from my hometown Sudbury, Suffolk, but most people travel to me from Ipswich, Chelmsford, Witham, Cambridge and London. I also will travel out to families to take their newborn baby pictures if the family is from further away, which means the baby doesn’t sleep all the way here in the car and is ready to go as soon as I’ve set up my mobile studio.
