My formal training was in the art of Wedding photography, on good old medium format cameras, film, darkrooms and developing. Like many Mums upon having my first born, portraits and capturing the very essence of childhood moments became a way of life, I quickly realised my passion and heart lay in capturing love and connection between families. And all the magical wonder and simplicity of being a child.

My family are my absolute world, alongside photography, I have three children ranging in age from 13 – 28, I’m not ashamed to admit my children define me, they inspire me to be the best person I can be and I treasure them, that has spurred me on to become the absolute best photographer I can be because I realise just how precious life is I strive to capture the moments that literally take your breath away.
As I’ve probably got across already. I love children – I think they are here to be treasured. In 2015 I helped co found The Butterflywishes Network with a few other likeminded photographers, we provide photoshoots for free to families of life threatened and terminally ill children. I was shocked but incredibly pround to receive a Point of Light Reward from Downing Street in 2015, I still am very active in the running of the organisation with an exceptional admin team, and am humbled and incredibly proud of the awesome group of photographers that give their time to help families capture treasured memories.

I live on the Suffolk/Essex border within easy reach of London and Cambridge, clients regularly travel from all of these areas as well the area I live. I offer a huge range of sessions and understand people can become confused! Please get in contact with me I’m pretty adept at working out if you would be better suited for a lifestyle shoot or you want something much more styled and themed. This also means putting pricing makes things very confusing – some shoots require less editing than others and so I can give you a guide once I know what type of session you require.
